She died on November 14, 2017.

Sardar Akhtar, wife of director Mehboob Khan, inroduced Nadira in the film Aan in 1951. She was considered a bold actress who mostly played nagative characters. She was romantically involved with the actor Motilal. Nadira's prominent films are Aan, Shree 420, Chhoti Chhoti Baaten, Kala Bazar, Julie, Bhanwar, Swayamwar etc. She died on February , 2006.

He was an actor, producer, director and he worked for over 60 years in film industry. He started his career with 1929's silent film Star Killing Youth. He was one of the leading man of early hindi film industry. He acted in over 300 films. He received the prestigious Phalke Award in 1980. He was one of the most respected man of the film industry. He died on August 11, 2000.

Mohan Choti
His real name was Mohan Gorakshakar. He started his career with small roles in films like Dedav, Parivar, Musafir, Ab Dilli Door Nahin. He slowly got popular and recognized and he got to work with Mehmood in Rakhi. But, he could never get over his initial image of a comedian used as a filler. He turned producer-director with Dhoti Lota aur Choupati, Hunterwalu 77 and Chabi Chor Ke Hath. None of these were succesfull. He died on February 1, 1992.

Jr. Mahmood
His real name was Naeem Sayyed. It was Mehmood, who gave his screen name of Jr. Mehmood. He acted in over 100 films but could not succeed like his mentor. He became a affordable clone of Mehmood. Some of his films are Brahmachari, Pyar Hi Pyar, Chanda Aur Bijli, Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani, Aan Milo Sajna, Hathi Mere Sathi etc.

Tarun Bose
He mostly played chararcter roles throughout his career of 70 odd films. He debuted with 1957's Apradhi Kaun? He played some good roles in Satyakam, Sujata, Anupama, Mujhe jeene Do, Aan Milo Sajna etc. He was considered as a very polished actor.
He died of a heart attack on March 8, 1972.

Abhi Bhattacharya
He was a Bengali actor who made his mark in Hindi films as well. He debuted with 1947s Nauka Doobi. He played lead roles initially, then, switched to playing supporting roles. His famous films are Jaagriti, Anuradha, Sailab, Naunihal, Jab Yaad Kisiki ati Hai, Barsat Ki Ek raat, Memsaab etc. He died in 1993.
