He was a terrafic Sitar player. He worked as music assitant to Naushad. He composed music for few films, such as, Annadata, Zindagi, mohabbat Ki Jeet, Tanhayee, Kite Fight etc. He was the one who introduced Suman Hemmady (Kalyanpur) in Mangu, in 1955, with the song 'Koi Pukare Dheere Se..', before he himself was replaced as the composerof the film. He died in 1980.
Prem Nath
Prem Nath Malhotra, famous as Prem Nath debuted in 1948 with the film Ajit. He fell in love with actress Bina Rai during the shoot of Aurat. They married and later formed a production company together called P N films. His sister Krishna married Raj Kapoor while his other sister Uma was married to actor Prem Chopra.
