Chic Choclate
He was a Goan trumpeter who led a Jazz band at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Bombay and was one of Bombay’s best known jazz musicians. He composed music for only three films, Naadan, Rangeeli & Kar Bhala. His real name was Antonio Xavier Vaz. He was an exceptional Goan Catholic musician. He worked with C Ramchandra. He died at the age of 55, in May, 1967, at Mumbai.

Mehmood, son of stage actor/dancer Mumtaz Ali, is known as one of the greatest comedian of Indian films. In 1956, he seriously, opted films as his career. He worked in over 100 films. Due to his immense popularity, there was a time when leading actors were afraid of sharing the screen with him. He gave major breaks to composer R D Burman, Rajesh Roshan and actor Amitabh Bachchan. Noted singer Lucky Ali is one of his sons.
